Valleymount Cross Country 2019
Valleymount Cross Country 2019 took place on 17th October. As always, the competition was hosted by St Joseph’s NS, Valleymount. Schools from all over Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow descended on the picturesque village for a day of high-class athletics action. When we say picturesque, we mean picturesque – Poulaphouca lake provides a stunning backdrop to the course!
As per competition rules, we sent four boys and four girls from each of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class. On what is a very difficult course, medals evaded us on the day but everyone enjoyed testing themselves in such a high-class field.
Hopefully, all going well, we, and all the other schools, will be able to return to Valleymount at some stage in 2021!
