Ms. Clare’s Senior Infants had great fun last week drawing some colourful umbrellas! Seeing as the weather is definitely getting colder and wetter now that winter is upon us, the children thought it would be a good idea to create some umbrellas.
Firstly, the children drew the octagonal shaped umbrellas step-by-step as a class and then used oil pastels to colour them in. The children are familiar using the oil pastels from creating their autumnal leaves back in October. The children then each added their own unique person underneath the umbrella including a puddle of water also! The children also added in water droplets before using their own colouring pencils and crayons to colour in the rest.
They really turned out very well!! All ready for the wet weather!!
