Seachtain na Gaeilge 2022 concluded on Friday with a ceolchoirm and prize-giving in the halla!
Our daltaí had been putting in a huge effort all week to learn their poems and songs for Friday’s ceolchoirm. This paid off handsomely with all classes reciting their poems and singing their songs with aplomb. After each class performed, their múinteoir announced the winner of the prestigious Gaeilgeoir na Seachtaine medal (bonn óir).
Ms Doyle also took to the stage to teach the entire school the ‘Calóga Arbhair’ song. She was joined on stage by Croí, Molly and Saoirse who helped her with the call and response part of the song. Maith sibh a chailíní!
