The children in Ms Clare’s 4th and 5th class have been very busy working from home lately. One of the many projects and tasks that they have completed so far was a ‘Prayer Box Activity’ for Catholic Schools Week (CSW) 2021. CSW lasted from 24th – 31st January 2021 this year and seeing as the children were working from home for this month, they spent some really valuable time creating their boxes.
The boxes were covered with their favourite prayers, a tangible reminder of how God is always there for us, when we are sad, content or anxious. No matter what, we can always talk to God.
The children also included the names of the people who they would like to include in their prayers on their box, be it their grandparents, parents or perhaps someone who is sick in their family.
As you can see the children created wonderful and decorative boxes and will enjoy using them to pray over the coming weeks.
