Perspective Art – Ms Clare’s 4th & 5th Class
‘Perspective’ is an art word, for making something look 3-dimensional, also known as 3-D. The spot where the image or picture disappears is called the vanishing point. The children in 4th and 5th class created their own perspective art pieces based on this concept. Here are the steps that they completed:
1. Draw a horizontal line on a piece of paper and place a vanishing point in the centre.
2. Draw diagonal lines from vanishing point to corners.
3. Draw buildings on one side and trees on the other.
4. Paint the image so far then trace over pencil lines with a black marker when dry.
Take a look at how they turned out! Don’t they look great?!
