How Much Sugar?
We have been very busy in 2nd Class working as young scientists measuring the amount of sugar that can be found in some common drinks!
We began by predicting the number of teaspoons of sugar that could be found in each drink – water, Fruit Shoot, Ribena, Lucozade, milk and Coca Cola. We then analysed the sugar content of each drink and measured out the number of teaspoons of sugar contained in each drink.
Some of the results shocked us!
We really enjoyed conducting this experiment and we got to practice our science skills of predicting, investigating, experimenting and measuring!
