Meadhbh and Isabella tell us all about their recent gymnastics lessons in PE.
Gymnastics/Gleacaíocht
Over the past few weeks, we've been learning all about gymnastics.
Week one we were learning all about handstands, which is all about trusting yourself.
Week two it was all about rolls, which you need good momentum and good follow through to do. Some of the rolls were wonder women roll, head-over-heels, and the James Bond roll etc.
Week three was all about balances, which required a lot of balance.
Week four had to do with jumps, which included the star jump, the pencil jump and the tuck jump.
And finally week five, we were putting all of our hard work to show by doing sequences which everybody really enjoyed.
