    • Green Schools Awards Ceremony - Our 6th Flag!

    On Tuesday the 5th of October the Green-schools awards ceremony took place. We were delighted to receive our new flag under the theme of Global Citizenship; Litter and Waste. This is our 6th Green Schools flag. We are very proud of all the hard work carried out by our committee, both past and present and the whole school Community. Here are some photos from the ceremony.

    Joanna Donnelly Visit to Ballyconnell School

    On the 1st of October it was National Tree Day, Joanna Donnelly planted a tree at the front of the school with some of the members of our Parents Association.

    GOAL Jersey Day October 10th 2025

    Ballyconnell NS took part in GOAL Jersey Day for the 5th time. Sixth class led GOAL Jersey Day on Friday October 10th. We raised €375.75! Míle buíochas to everyone who contributed so generously.

    Ballyconnell Hall Projects 2025

    4 th class have spent the year in St Mary’s Hall. They thought it a good idea to find out a little bit more about this important building in our parish and to share what they learned with their school mates.

    Former Student returns to talk about her trip to The Gambia
