Geography – Ireland

Ms Clare - 4^th & 5^th class

Over the past couple of weeks, the boys and girls in Ms. Clare’s 4^th & 5^th have been busy learning all about Ireland.

We have so far completed the Provinces, Counties, County Towns, Rivers, Lakes, Mountains, Mountain Peaks and Islands of Ireland!! Not only this but we have learned exactly where these are all located within Ireland and have completed class tests on them every fortnight!

In order to reinforce all of these areas, we completed a class Geography competition wherein each individual student was assigned a particular topic, i.e. rivers/lakes etc. and had to design a map of Ireland based on this particular topic.

Needless to say it was a very tough competition to judge!!
