Presidential Election Sixth Class
The week before mid-term, rang a 6 organised a mock presidential election among the students of 4th, 5th and 6th class.

4th & 5th class completed a different kind of art lesson this week.
Each student was provided with a particular photograph from a calendar and the children were asked to cut the image in half in some way i.e. diagonally, vertically, horizontally etc.
Once this was complete, the children simply chose one half of the photo to stick down on an A4 page before drawing/completing the other half of the photograph themselves, using their own imagination.
Lots of the photographs were agricultural based as this integrated with our topic of farming in Ireland in Geography.
These turned out very well and the children thoroughly enjoyed completing them.
