On Tuesday the 30^th of May our 6^th class pupils had the lovely opportunity of going on a hike with our bus driver Emmanuel. They began their journey at Drumgoff recreation under glorious sunshine and cloudless, blue skies before venturing on to Kelly’s Lough a Corrie Lake. From here they continued on to Carrawaystick mountain before returning to Drumgoff recreation. The children completed the day with some food in Glenmalure Lodge also. Everyone really enjoyed the day!

Meanwhile, back in school, the remainder of the classes participated in a ‘Hula Hoop Hoolie’ on the basketball court. Similarly to our aquatics/water-based activities during our Active Schools Week in 2021, each class had the opportunity to engage with a variety of cooperative games using Hula Hoops. Games included ‘Rock Paper Scissors Hoop’, ‘We Will Rock You’ as well as ‘Hula Hoop Pass with Ball.’ The games were great fun with all children enjoying all stations.
