Senior School Tour 2024 - Emerald Park
For the first time since 2016, the Ballyconnell Senior Tour set off for Co. Meath. Tayto Park may now be called Emerald Park, but the same fun was had!! Check out the photos below!

Over the course of the last four weeks the children in every class completed the Dare to Believe’s Olympic Movement Breaks initiative, as part of the Active Schools programme.
The initiative consisted of a series of 20 short videos, led by Olympians and High-Performance athletes demonstrating fun exercises and activities that students of all abilities can do! The short videos helped generate classroom-based movement opportunities and covered a wide variety of different sports including athletics, boxing, rugby sevens, swimming, breakdancing and powerlifting, The teachers were also provided with a chart to help keep track and tick off as each video was completed.
The children seemed to really enjoy the movement breaks, with some children looking for more videos to complete even after the 4 weeks were complete.
It was a wonderful success for all classes as you can see from the photos below!

Rang a 5 recently performed their play in the GB Shaw Theatre in Carlow as part of Glór Cheatharlach's Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations.
