Dare to Believe Active Movement Breaks November/December 2025
The benefits of exercise on children’s learning and general wellbeing are well documented. What better way to boost our students’ learning, then, than to get in a quick movement break during class time after a long period of sitting?
Dare to Believe’s videos have always been enjoyable but this year they really outdid themselves. All 10 videos were extremely well put together, highly interactive and very inclusive. Olympians featured included: double Olympic champion, Fintan McCarthy; Olympic gold-medal-winning gymnast, Rhys McGleneghan; Paralympic sprint sensation, Orla Comerford; Irish 100m hurdle record-holder, Sarah Lavin; and up-and-coming swimmer, John Shortt.
Participating classes really looked forward to each movement break and there was even some gentle encouragement of teachers by students to do the Dare to Believe dance! Check out the pictures below.
