Maths Week is always a fun week in the school calendar and this year was no different with 5^th class undertaking many different activities including World Cup Brain Teasers, emoji equations, honeycombs (kind of like sudoku) and, always a firm favourite, Target Boards.

Some of the aims of Maths Week are to show the value of mathematics in everyday life, to inspire a love of mathematics among children and to foster a positive attitude towards the subject!
