For the first time in many years (or maybe ever – we’ve to consult the archives!), Ballyconnell NS will enter a hurling team in Cumann na mBunscol Cheatharlach. Training started last Friday!

On Friday, some lucky 5^th and 6^th class pupils took part in an indoor hurling training session in the halla with 4^th class teacher, Mr Byrne.

It was a highly enjoyable session for everybody. Training continues next week ahead of an Indoor Hurling Blitz in Kildavin on Wednesday 29^th of November.

Míle buíochas to Mr Byrne for his initiative on putting the team together.

Senior School Tour 2024 - Emerald Park

For the first time since 2016, the Ballyconnell Senior Tour set off for Co. Meath. Tayto Park may now be called Emerald Park, but the same fun was had!! Check out the photos below!
