On Thursday the 15th of June the 5th and 6th class girls in Ballyconnell N.S. participated in a blitz in Clonmore.
We played 6 matches in total including the final. We played Tynock, Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, Knockananna, Hacketstown and Rathcoyle all of which were hard games but we won them all.
At this point we knew we were in the A final against Knockananna. It was just like in 2022 and thanks to Ms Brennan’s encouragement and wise words we came out on top and won the A final.
It was great to participate and win the blitz since it was our last year in Ballyconnell NS. We all had a great time and it was a great evening.
All of the participants in the blitz enjoy the Clonmore sunshine as they wait for the presentation
