GOAL Jersey Day 2025
Ballyconnell NS took part in GOAL Jersey Day for the 5th time. There was great colour on display around the school with Wicklow, Carlow, Ireland, Coolkenno and Clonmore jerseys abounding! There were even some exotic Spanish GAA and New Zealand club rugby jerseys on display.
Our Rang a 6 led GOAL Jersey Day on Friday October 10th this year. They reminded all students and staff about the event the day beforehand. They collected the money from all the classrooms and then helped our Secretary Sinéad count the money in the afternoon. It took them a while to count it all because this year we raised €375.75! Míle buíochas to everyone who contributed so generously.
The funds raised will go towards GOAL’s work in far-flung places around the globe including Gaza, Ethiopia, Sudan, Syria, Haiti and Colombia.
